Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer eager for an exciting opportunity within a new joint venture in the water industry? Our client, a pioneering collaboration between two leading contractors, is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to contribute to key projects within the Southern Water region.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the electrical engineering elements of water infrastructure projects, from design through to implementation.
2. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including mechanical engineers, project managers, and contractors to ensure smooth and integrated project execution.
3. Review, verify, and approve technical designs, drawings, and specifications.
4. Supervise on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure compliance with specifications and safety regulations.
5. Provide technical expertise to resolve electrical engineering challenges and ensure project continuity.
6. Ensure all projects meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
7. Prepare project documentation, progress reports, and technical submissions.
Requirements:
8. Demonstrated experience as an Electrical Engineer, ideally within the water sector or related industries.
9. In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, industry standards, and engineering best practices.
10. Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
11. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across disciplines and engage with clients.
12. Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., BEng/MEng in Electrical Engineering) and professional certifications.
13. Knowledge of Southern Water Framework or similar utility frameworks is a plus.
