We are looking for an experienced cook to join our team from the end of January 2025. You must have a qualification in Food hygiene and catering.
You need to know:
1. Fridge and freezer temperatures
2. Correct cooking temperatures
3. Cooling of food temperatures
4. Cleaning of the kitchen and how you would do this and what you would use
5. Understanding of the Safer Food Better Business pack
6. Dietary requirements
7. Allergens
You need to have had experience working in a kitchen and be willing to adhere to all dietary requirements, dislikes, and personal preferences.
All food is cooked from fresh, including pastries, curries, lasagnes, cakes, etc., so you must be able to cook and bake.
The job is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, on a temporary basis due to the current Chef having surgery and being off for a minimum of 4-6 months.
