Who you’ll be working with
We build the solutions dreamed up by the product and design teams. Our goal is to deliver working software every two weeks. We are a large team that spans across four global offices, but we collaborate and integrate front- and back-end components and interfaces to provide a user-centered experience through web and mobile platforms.
What you’ll be doing
* Develop and maintain front-end code for web applications using HTML5 and CSS3.
* Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
* Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to create responsive, user-friendly web interfaces.
* Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
* Implement best practices for web accessibility and performance.
* Maintain and improve the codebase, ensuring code quality, reusability, and maintainability.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
What you’ll need to be successful (Requirements)
* You need to live within a commutable distance to Lincoln as this is an Office Based position.
* Proven experience as an HTML/CSS Engineer or similar role.
* Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
* Experience with CSS frameworks such as Tailwind or Bootstrap.
* Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices.
* Experience with GitHub.
* Excellent attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality user interfaces.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Experience with design tools such as Figma.
* Experience with CSS preprocessors such as Sass or Less.
* Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
* Experience with build tools such as Webpack.
* Familiarity with CMS and eCommerce like WordPress, Shopify, and BigCommerce.
