The school has a strong sense of community and works closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to achieve the best outcomes for every child. ✨ The Role As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils with individual timetables, both in and out of the classroom. Working closely with the SENCO, teachers, and external agencies, your responsibilities will include: Following pre-planned materials to ensure pupils remain on track with their learning. Supporting pupils as they transition between lessons and targeted interventions. Monitoring and reporting on pupil progress to the SENCO and external professionals. Assisting with the preparation of detailed reports to support educational plans and assessments. Attending feedback meetings to share insights on pupil development. Building strong relationships with pupils to build confidence and independence. ✅ Requirements To excel in this role, you will need: Experience working with children in a school setting (experience with SEND pupils is highly desirable). Strong organisational skills to manage individual timetables. A compassionate and patient approach to supporting children with diverse needs.
