Job Duties:
The Year 2 Teacher will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons to primary school students. They will assess student progress, provide feedback, and create a positive learning environment. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development and participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Relevant degree in Education or related field
- Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of child development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Experience working with Year 2 students
Working Conditions:
The Year 2 Teacher will work in a primary school setting, following the school calendar and daily schedule. They may need to attend after-school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development sessions. The role involves standing for long periods and occasional lifting of classroom materials.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
