Job summary The post holder is a recognized expert in the specialty, responsible for scanning a variety of specialist vascular ultrasounds and reporting on these. This includes ensuring consistency of medical imaging quality, accurate informative report writing and maintaining high standards of patient care to the agreed departmental protocols. They are responsible for the provision of specialist education and training for other staff and students and responsible for implementing a clearly defined integrated approach to patient care encompassing new procedures and evidence based care. Required to undertake research and lead clinical audits.
