The Role:
In this Facilities Officer position, you will work closely with the Workplace Operations Manager, supporting the daily functions of the Corporate Safety and Workplace team. With responsibilities that include managing office access, coordinating contractor services, and overseeing event logistics, you will be instrumental in maintaining safe and efficient environments across our sites. Your work will touch on essential FM areas, from auditing building standards to handling access requirements, database management, and operational support.
You will have autonomy to resolve day:to:day issues and be involved in project coordination, risk assessment, and facility scheduling. If you are proactive and thrive in an environment that values both independence and teamwork, this role is an ideal match.

About You:
You have solid experience in Facilities Management, particularly within Hard and Soft FM services, with a preference for those who have operated in local authorities or similar settings. You understand the importance of service orientation and are adept at building and managing relationships with various stakeholders. Your technical know:how is complemented by a customer:focused approach and proficiency in CAFM systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
We're looking for someone who brings:
:A relevant Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management or a closely related field.
:Experience in managing multi:tenanted buildings and coordinating with contractors.
:Strong interpersonal and communication skills, essential for our customer:facing services.
:An understanding of health and safety standards, risk management, and FM trends affecting local authorities.
:A proactive, flexible approach with the ability to manage competing priorities
