Day-to-day responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Overseeing and managing daily accounting operations using SAGE accounting software, ensuring financial records are accurate and up-to-date Preparing and presenting detailed financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports Handling customer invoicing, supplier payments, and monitoring accounts receivable and payable to ensure timely collections and payments Conducting regular account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy Managing international payments and currency exchange transactions, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness in cross-border operations Budgeting and financial forecasting to support business growth and sustainability Assisting with internal and external audits by providing comprehensive financial documentation and ensuring compliance with all regulations Supporting and mentoring junior team members, providing training and development to enhance their skills and performance Identifying opportunities to streamline and improve financial processes to enhance overall efficiency within the finance function The ideal candidate we are looking for is/has: Significant experience with SAGE Accounting software, with a strong understanding of its features and capabilities Demonstrated experience in a senior accounting position In-depth knowledge of managing overseas transactions, including currency exchange, international payments, and compliance with global financial regulations Proactive, with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, capable of managing complex financial data and providing clear insights Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across departments and with external partners Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment Experience in mentoring and developing junior staff members, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment If you're ready to take on this exciting challenge and make your mark in a rewarding environment, apply now Huntress Search Ltd acts as a Recruitment Agency in relation to all Permanent roles and as a Recruitment Business in relation to all Temporary roles.
