Job Title: Part-Time Admin Assistant
Contract: Fixed Term Contract until the end of December 2025
Location: Gateshead
Salary: £26,000 pro rata
Working Hours: 25-30 hours per week (Flexible, but Friday must be a working day)
Kinetic Recruitment is currently resourcing for a part-time Admin Assistant to provide administrative support to the purchasing department. You will ensure all clerical tasks are completed in a timely manner to support the smooth running of the department.
Responsibilities:
* Following up with suppliers
* Expediting purchase orders
* Managing purchase order confirmations
* Handling invoice queries
* Updating the team and stakeholders about any delays or problems with suppliers
* Maintaining records/document management
* Any other duties as requested or assigned by the Purchasing Manager
Skills and Experience:
* Previous experience in an admin role
* Experience in a manufacturing environment (beneficial)
* Previous purchasing experience (beneficial)
* Customer service skills
* Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks
* Strong PC skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
* Team player
