Alloga UK, part of Cencora, has experienced remarkable growth over the last decade, positioning ourselves as a leader in the pharmaceutical logistics sector. As we continue our ambitious journey, we are looking for a dynamic Head of Finance to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving our financial strategy and supporting our growth objectives.

Salary: Competitive + Performance Related Bonus + Car/Car Allowance
Role Overview: As the Head of Finance, you will report directly to the Finance Director and will be responsible for leading our finance team to ensure the financial health and sustainability of Alloga UK. Your strategic insight and exceptional communication skills will be crucial as you collaborate with various stakeholders, including the 3PL finance team at Cencora, the Executive Team, and the Senior Management Team at Alloga UK.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Financial Management: Support the Finance Director in shaping financial strategies across all areas of financial accounting, reporting, commercial finance, and credit management in line with Alloga UK and Group objectives.
* Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the review and consolidation of individual functional budgets and forecasts, presenting the overall Alloga UK business budget to the Executive Team for approval before submission to Group.
* Performance Analysis: Provide insightful analysis on current and future business performance, reviewing financial indicators and making recommendations to the Executive Team to facilitate informed decision-making.
* Investment Oversight: Review and support the production of business cases for investments exceeding local Delegation of Authority.
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure timely preparation and approval of all financial statements, tax returns, and regulatory filings.
* Financial Control Management: Oversee the Alloga UK financial control framework, including conducting monthly and quarterly control reviews and managing the annual internal control processes.
* Audit Liaison: Act as the primary contact for external auditors, overseeing audit requirements and ensuring compliance.
* Team Leadership: Manage and lead the finance team, with direct responsibility for 4 managers and wider oversight of 21 team members.
* Deputy Role: Deputise for the Finance Director as required, ensuring continuity and support in leadership.
Key Skills & Qualifications
* Qualified CIMA or ACA professional.
* Exceptional communication skills, particularly at a senior level.
* Proven experience managing managers in a dynamic environment.
* Experience in a 3PL or logistics background is desirable.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide actionable insights.
