Electrical Tester £43,000 - £45,000 per annum London Are you a skilled electrician looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrical Installation and Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves performing a variety of tasks related to electrical installations and maintenance, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and adhering to industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Interpret and work from drawings, schedules, and schematics. Order and collect necessary components for tasks. Advise management and clients on potential equipment hazards. Test and inspect electrical systems to ensure safety and compliance. Diagnose and resolve electrical system malfunctions. Assemble, install, and maintain electrical equipment and fixtures. Conduct regular maintenance tasks and produce detailed reports. Respond promptly to faults, diagnose root causes, and rectify issues.Administrative Duties: Review and adhere to risk assessments and method statements. Prepare and maintain customer reports and documentation. Ensure timely submission of all required documentation. SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality): Conduct and record toolbox talks. Ensure staff have and use the correct PPE and that equipment is in good condition. Maintain a proactive approach to SHEQ. Skills & Knowledge Requirements: Proven experience in electrical testing, maintenance, and installation. Time-served electrical apprenticeship or NVQ level 3 (or equivalent). ust have City and Guilds 2391 (2394/2395) in Testing and Inspection, or equivalent. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other IT skills. Ability to plan and coordinate tasks effectively. Experience in both preventative and reactive maintenance. High attention to detail and accuracy. Experience with Commercial/Industrial LV Electrical systems. Must have prior knowledge of completing electrical certification and reports, digitally.Additional Requirements: Full valid driving license. Willingness to travel to customer sites and work away from home as needed.
