Whilst virtual client engagement and execution of research has been virtual since 2020, we do expect travel to be part of this role in the future. The role: Our Associate Director role is the first opportunity to take ownership of important account management. Involving high interaction with clients and elevated involvement in how we drive our business ahead. You will showcase your research experience, commercial awareness, strategic insight and people skills, including the important role of line manager and mentor. Think creatively Invent relevantly Deliver with impact Engage with enthusiasm Role requirements: Reporting directly to a Director or Senior Director, you will be heavily involved in leading the business through strong client management, winning new business across existing and future clients, along with being a role model for the wider team internally. Core competencies- You must be able to demonstrate the following: Research and Delivery Expertise Proficient in the design of high level custom qualitative and quantitative studies, with significant expertise in at least one area Strong analytical skills and report design Create and deliver visually impactful and action-focused presentations and reports with clear strategic guidance, efficiently and profitably (with some support) Communicate your thinking with clarity to clients Lead project teams by providing clear guidance and direction Confident to foresee/avoid/manage problems and provide solutions Company and Client Management Lead for allocated clients, (with support of Director / Senior Director), including actively developing commercial plans based on deep knowledge of your accounts Identify new business opportunities AND relationships that deliver RFPs Develop key accounts by designing outstanding / winning client proposals Supporting the business to achieve financial goals People Management Understanding of, and input into, personal development for your direct reports Skilful in providing both positive and critical feedback A positive role model across the whole business driving team engagement and motivation Qualifications and Experience: Degree level qualified (2:1 as a minimum in a relevant area), ideally with a relevant advanced qualification (e.g. MSc, PhD, MBA) 7 years of market research experience Healthcare/pharmaceutical research experience with proven track record of client delivery (input into proposals and research design, financial understanding, project management and great research deliverables) Experience presenting research results to clients and able to communicate clearly and efficiently Experience across an array of different research approaches, but able to demonstrate expertise and client credibility in at least one area Knowledge across specific therapy areas Package: Adelphi Research offer a competitive remuneration package consisting of base salary, quarterly performance-based bonus and car allowance.
