This role is part of our growing research portfolio on perception sensor testing, and will involve sensor modelling, sensor model interfacing, sensor data fusing, robustness testing and information extraction, working in collaboration with industry and academic partners. Successful candidate will be exposed to a variety of academic and industrial partners through a number of our research projects like Horizon Europe funded SUNRISE, SYNERGIES, EVENTS, i4Driving etc., and Innovate UK / CCAV funded DriveSafeAI. About You The successful candidate will have a good understanding of existing sensor technologies, an understanding of scenarios, and scenario-based testing for CAV’s. The successful candidate will have experience with open-source simulation platform such as Carla, esmini, LG simulation along with experiences with robot operating systems (ROS) and/or Autoware AV stack and with sensor interfacing between ROS/Autoware and environment simulations.
