Role Summary
There is an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 leadership position in General Outpatients. This role will focus on the operational management and support of clinics in our Outpatient Department.
About the Role
The overall purpose of the Band 6 role is to provide Clinical and Managerial leadership to the Nursing and Multi-professional team. This includes acting as a clinical leader and an expert practitioner liaising, guiding and advising the multidisciplinary team and external agencies in the provision of optimum patient care.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, motivated and committed to giving high quality nursing care and be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team. You will consistently ensure that a patient’s privacy, dignity and psychological well-being is maintained, and at all times, the care given is patient centred.
You need to have excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. We require individuals who are forward thinking, well organised and with a positive attitude towards flexibility and change.
General Outpatients is based across the acute and community sites, so the candidate would be required to support in any of these areas.
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week. Monday-Friday 8-8, occasional weekend working.
