Early Years Teaching Assistant

Monarch Education are supporting a 'good' Primary school in Swindon, who are looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant to join their Nursery Classes in Easter 2025. The role entails supporting the class Teacher and pupils, running group sessions, 1-1 interventions, and general class support during lessons, break time cover, and other assisting duties. You will also help with pupil assessments and feedback for teachers and carers, and provide updates to parents and carers where needed. A C or equivalent in English and Maths GCSE is required for this role.
The Role:
* Hours approximately 8:30am - 3:30pm (Mon-Fri)
* Nursery Teaching Assistant
* £11.69 - £16.15 per hour
* Swindon
* Easter 2025 start
Responsibilities:
* Providing support within the classroom wherever required
* Delivering activities on a one-to-one or small group basis
* Ensuring children are engaged
* Adapting to every individual pupil's needs
* Helping with behaviour management of children
* Creating displays of children's work
