Great Yarmouth Borough Council is an ambitious local authority with big plans for the future and massive opportunities ahead. It's an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with other officers, funders and external partners to support the successful delivery of a range of high-profile publicly co-funded projects and programmes that are transforming our borough and driving physical, social and economic regeneration.
As the ‘accountable body’ for a range of government and other public sector funding, the Council must produce progress reports in the form of Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) submissions. These include information and commentary on project and programme outputs, outcomes, expenditure and milestones. The post is a key role, providing both a point of liaison with funders and a secretariat to the Great Yarmouth Town Board.
Please note this is a fixed term contract until September 2026 working 18.5 hours per week.
We can offer you a varied and challenging role with opportunities for professional development and a friendly working environment with attractive terms and conditions, including generous holiday entitlement, flexible working and membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme. If you would like to have an informal discussion about the role, please contact Simon Best, Head of Inward Investment at 01493 846640.
