Job Qualification
* Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle along with PSW diploma or equivalent.
* Must be willing to see home care clients across all of the Greater Hamilton/Burlington Area.
* Must be ready and able to work same day work assignments that are communicated at the beginning of the work day or the day prior to the float shift.
* Must be available every other weekend OR every weekend – Saturday and Sunday – from 7-3pm or 3-11pm.
* Evening availability is a plus, from 5p-10p.
Education:
Personal Support Worker diploma or equivalent (evidence required).
Attributes:
* Excellent communication skill with fluency in written and spoken English.
* French proficiency required for positions located within Quebec or where French language is a service requirement.
* Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle.
Successful candidates who are offered a position will be required to provide:
* 2 supervisory references,
* A clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening.
* Proof of being negative for TB.
