Optimising the service level for customers regarding customs activities by employing both proactive and reactive approaches, while adhering to and complying with company and external authority requirements and legislation. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate with internal and external customers to gather necessary information for completing Customs Representation Authorization and customs declarations before shipping. Review customer documentation to ensure all required data, such as EORI, VAT numbers, legal entities, customs procedures, and other applicable formalities, are present before starting customs clearance. Proactively preventing and investigating patterns to resolve queries and avoid trailers being diverted to an Inland Border Facility (IBF). Reducing transit times and customs debt to ensure that Dachsers Transit Guarantee is not compromised. Promptly submit Transit Arrivals to Customs. Identify and amend uncleared entries in a timely manner. Resolve issues by collaborating with customers and relevant teams via email and telephone. Communicate proactively with the Team Leader to ensure any issues or potential issues are known within the team. Maintain meticulous attention to detail of electronic data at all times. Adhere to standard operating procedures for Customs and AEO processes. Uphold Dachser values in your daily work ethic. Efficiently manage personal and group email boxes.
