Overview of the role
The National Training Delivery Manager will manage the delivery of all staff and stakeholder training interventions delivered by UKROEd. Primarily through the delivery and management of the Academy provision but also more broadly to support the need for professional development and distributed training needs of all UKROEd stakeholders.
The UKROEd Academy was established in 2019 with the aim of providing support through continuous professional development opportunities for UKROEd Stakeholders and NDORS delivery community. Most learners are Trainers who deliver NDORS courses to Clients but we regularly welcome other UKROEd stakeholders. The Academy currently delivers several different courses including but not limited to Equality Diversity and Inclusion (Accredited), Modern Slavery, Deaf Awareness, Supporting ESOL clients, Internal Monitoring (Accredited), Level 4 in Understanding the IQA of Assessment Processes and Behaviour Change Interventions (Accredited).
This role will also support the NDORS course development and roll outs through provision of distributed training on new course material. Specifically, the training of instructors who subsequently provide distributed training across all NDORS course providers.
The National Training Delivery Manager will also support the Annual Provider Review and NDORS Assessment and Quality Assurance activity. The role is critical for ensuring a high standard of training delivery across all our course provisions. The role will also play a significant part in shaping the growth of the Academy as we are entering into an implementation period for a new Learning Management System and are actively seeking to expand our portfolio.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
The National Training Delivery Manager will be responsible for the operational delivery staff and stakeholder training on behalf of UKROEd. They will also ensure the smooth running of the Academy and carry out the following duties:
* Support the design, development and delivery of courses (F2F, virtual, hybrid, e-learning).
* Deliver Academy courses as required and provide SME support to the associate Academy Tutors.
* Routinely review and evaluate the course offer, ensuring that courses are fit for purpose and current.
* Innovate and introduce new courses and CPD events where training requirements are identified.
* Deliver distributed training to Instructors on NDORS courses.
* Act as Super User for the UKROEd Academy Learning Management System and liaise with the System Administrator to ensure LMS is managed and updated accordingly.
* Coordinate the team of associate Academy Tutors who deliver the F2F provision.
* Ensure courses are scheduled appropriately in accordance with the course allocation plan.
* Carry out the monitoring and development of the tutor team and provide feedback on their performance in conjunction with the business Manager.
* Market and promote training events through relevant channels.
* Host and coordinate UKROEd Academy events when held at Head Office.
* Assess, mark and quality assure learner work.
* Liaise regularly with the awarding organisations and keep up to date with developments in the education and training sector.
* Maintain approval for accredited courses and qualifications, seek to increase scope of accreditation offered.
* Retain learners and ensure they receive the best end-to-end learner experience.
* Conduct administrative activities to support training delivery functions.
* Monitor the allocated budget.
* Present at UKROEd events on learning and development topics.
* Assist the creation of multimedia relevant to training delivery.
* Work closely with all UKROEd colleagues and stakeholders to provide innovative L&D solutions for staff development opportunities.
* Support the Annual Provider Review process as required.
* Support the Assessment and Quality Assurance Process as required.
* Deputise for Head of Learning and Course Development as required.
* The post holder will have a close working relationship with the Head of Learning and Course Development and Chief Operating Officer.
* There will be the need for close working relationships across the business area and the wider UKROEd team.

Qualifications
* Relevant professional qualification in learning and development (e.g., CIPD Level 5 or above in Learning & Development)
* Degree qualification in Education, Training or relevant field (PGCE[PCET])
* Postgraduate qualification in Education, Training, or Leadership. (PGCE[PCET], MSc Ed, PG Dip)
* IQA or TAQA (To be achieved in first 3 months in post if not already held)
* Coaching and mentoring qualification
Experience
* Have experience in managing and coordinating training delivery.
* Have experience of liaising with awarding bodies and accreditation organisations.
* Have extensive experience in delivering a variety of training and development interventions both in person and virtually.
* Have experience working with the public and/or private learning and development sector.
* Have experience operating independently to deliver innovative learning and development solutions.
* Have experience of managing relationship with stakeholders and responding to course enquiries.
* Have experience of leading a team of trainers or tutors.
* Have experience as a “super-user” on an LMS
* Have experience of instructional design
