Our Halifax Office is looking for a Site Representative to start with us from May 2025. This is a contract role and will run until December 2025.
Duties:
* Perform site review of construction activities for conformance with the contract documents and drawings.
* Communicate and coordinate with other Project Site Representatives and the Construction Administrator or Project Manager.
* Facilitate and participate in project meetings as required.
* Review and process contract extra work claims.
* Prepare and process monthly progress estimates and quantities.
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and the public as required.
* Assist in the preparation of contract documents and drawings.
* Adhere to all site safety requirements and regulations.
Qualifications:
* Civil Tech diploma OR an undergraduate degree in Engineering from a recognized post-secondary institution.
* Superior English communication skills both oral and written.
* Ability to interpret construction drawings, contract documents, and specifications.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, related to linear projects including watermains, sewers, and roads is a project requirement.
* Contract administrative experience is a strong asset.
* Must have a valid class G driver's license and their own vehicle for transportation between office and assigned work site.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
