Job Description:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Electrician qualified to Level II to join our facilities team based at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. This is a permanent full-time position working from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.
Key Activities:
* Reporting to the Self-Delivery Supervisor / Operations Manager
* Providing technical engineering support for the Hard FM Services department and carrying out preventative maintenance to deadline, while maintaining paperwork to support PPM activities
* Responding to reactive and emergency faults and conducting reactive maintenance work to ensure compliance with KPIs
* Managing Contractors as necessary
* Working 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday
Skills & Qualifications:
* Recognised electrical trade apprenticeship and/or relevant qualifications to Level 2 (theory and practice) in a relevant electrical discipline with suitable industry experience
* Experience in building services is required
* Willingness to attain cross-skilling and undertake training to qualify as an AP as required
* IT Literate
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Good planning, organising, and prioritising skills
* Ability to use initiative and judgement to resolve problems
* Experience in a Healthcare environment is advantageous
* Good understanding of health and safety best practices; formal training is an advantage
