Summary
Greencroft Bottling based in Annfield Plain have an exciting opportunity for an HR Support Apprentice. You’ll join the team, assisting with HR and admin tasks, including client communication, basic administrative duties, and learning about human resources. This role offers valuable hands-on experience and skill development throughout.

The hourly wage will be: 1st year £7.85 per hour (£16,328 per year) Under 18 £7.85 per hour (£16,328 per year) 18 to 20 £10.30 per hour (£21,424 per year) 21 and over £12.51 per hour (£26,021 per year)

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you’ll do at work
You will work with our team to provide administrative and HR support across all elements of our work including managing sensitive information, processing data and supporting senior team members.
Training and support will be provided throughout the apprenticeship to ensure you learn new skills and gain practical experience. Here are the some of the daily taks you will be working towards:
* Ensure all training records are printed, scanned and filed.
* Ensure all training matrices are comprehensive, up to date and ready to be audited at any time.
* Deliver and coordinate induction for all staff (including employees and agency workers).
* Arrange, book and coordinate other external training activities as required.
* Arrange, support and take part in recruitment activities such interviews for internal employees (promotions and transfers), external employees (new recruits) and agency workers.
* Cover our Receptionist/Administrator in their absence.
* Support and contribute to general HR administrative activities, such as handling day to day queries, using the HR database and delivering excellent customer service.

* Service Delivery: Delivers excellent customer service on a range of HR queries and requirements, providing solutions, advice and support primarily to managers. Builds managers’ expertise in HR matters, improving their ability to handle repeated situations themselves where appropriate. Uses agreed systems and processes to deliver service to customers. Takes the initiative to meet agreed individual and team KPIs in line with company policy, values, standards. Plans and organises their work, often without direct supervision, to meet commitments and KPIs.
* Problem Solving: Uses sound questioning and active listening skills to understand requirements and establish root causes before developing HR solutions. Takes ownership through to resolution, escalating complex situations as appropriate.
* Communication & Interpersonal: Deals effectively with customers/colleagues, using sound interpersonal skills and communicating well through a range of media eg phone, face to face, email, internet. Adapts their style to their audience. Builds trust and sound relationships with customers. Handles conflict and sensitive HR situations professionally and confidentially.

* Managing HR Information: Maintains required HR records as part of services delivered. Prepares reports and management information from HR data, with interpretation as required.
* Personal Development: Keeps up to date with business changes and HR legal/policy/process changes relevant to their role. Seeks feedback and acts on it to improve their performance and overall capability.
