The Recipe To manage product and pack Innovation related projects, involving the development and implementation of new products and product launches. Key Accountabilities and Measures To successfully manage Innovation projects (as defined by complexity, capex, revenue, profit/volume) within planned cost, timescale and resource budgets. Successfully manage the approval of projects with senior stakeholders at the stage gate meeting, ensuring adequate pre-alignment as required. Identify, assess, and manage projects issues and risks and create mitigation plans To prepare and maintain realistic Innovation project and quality plans, providing regular and accurate project reports to stakeholders highlighting launch updates, timelines, P&L, risks and roadblocks. Advise on and support Project management activities within the team To ensure all projects are reviewed with lessons learned recorded and utilised on subsequent projects. Lead and drive Innovation process, procedures and compliance for all projects To be responsible for maintaining own continuous professional development and knowledge to ensure Business leaders and Managers have a reliable and professional service to meet business needs. Coaching of other team members. Essential Ingredients Project management experience, gained within a multi-site FMCG environment. Good knowledge of End to End processes (Ideation through to execution and in store) Experience of leading cross- functional, Innovation launches within FMCG environment. Excellent communication skills, influential, articulate and persuasive Ability to change direction with ease and overcome and adapt to changing priorities and pre-empting and solving problems Plans & organises projects, analysing critical paths in order to establish interdependencies and to plan appropriate actions; monitors and communicates progress against plans and milestones; regularly monitors work carried out by others to ensure tasks are delivered to time, quality and other requirements and makes improvements where required.
