About the role of Regulation Operations Officer: Due to an internal move we now have an opportunity for a Regulation Operations Officer to join our team on a permanent basis, supporting the delivery of effective operations across the Regulation Directorate. Your key responsibilities as our Regulation Operations Officer will include: Supporting the coordination and collation of management information and performance data to enable the Executive Director to make informed decisions. To support the Regulation Operations Manager in prioritising key issues across the Regulation Directorate considering the activities of other teams and the Executive Director's priorities. Personally lead on some projects, particularly that which interface with key external stakeholders whilst also developing effective working relationships and encouraging cross-functional working. Be able to work on high priority, unplanned work or work that is politically sensitive. Analyse data and present information clearly. To support the collation and monitoring of the Directorate's operational risk register, escalating high risk issues. To provide high level administrative support and secretariat duties for management team meetings and provide day to day support to the Executive Director. To be the subject matter expert for Regulation on the IT Change Advisory Board and to assist with the completion and monitoring of change requests. About you: Excellent communication skills and an ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders and audiences. Highly developed administrative skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Ability to manage conflict and evidence of demonstrating initiative, using logical thinking and problem-solving skills. Experience of managing and working independently, together with the ability to prioritise work in the face of irregular demands and/or changes in business needs. Evidence of producing and presenting complex information as understandable reports and advice relevant to various audiences. Collaborative and solution orientated approach to support the delivery of improvements across a range of procedures and processes.
