Darwen Healthlinkis a forward thinking, proactive training practice situated within the WestPennine Moors. We are seeking to employ ahighly motivated Salaried GP for a minimum of 4 sessions per week, who has ambition, innovativeideas and would like to become a part of our dedicated team of HealthcareProfessionals.
We are amember practice of the Blackburn with Darwen LPC Federation.

About us
DarwenHealthlink is a high QOF achiever and we use Emis Web Clinical System, Lexacom,Remote Access and Iplato. Our patient list size is currently over 16,000 patients and we are located in a modernmultipurpose Health Centre with a variety of Community based healthcareproviders within the building such as Treatment Rooms, Dental, Podiatry, MSK,Audiology and have an onsite Community Pharmacy. The Health Centre is locatedjust off Junction 4 of the M65 providing easy access to the Motorway networks
Our practiceteam consists of:
4 GP Partners, a management team, 2 Salaried GP's, 2 Clinical Pharmacists, 1 Pharmacy Technician, 1 Advances Nurse Practitioner, 1 Mental Health Practitioner, 5 Practice Nurses and 1 HealthcareAssistant; all of which are supported by an effective and professional administrativeteam who have been provided with a high standard of training which includes workflow optimisation, carenavigation, medication support and customer care.

The post-holder will manage a caseloadand deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuringthe highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.

Qualifications
Essential
1. Fully trained GP with Vocational Training Certificate.
2. Up to date CPR training
3. Current and full driving licence.
4. Appraisal / Revalidation up-to-date.
Desirable
5. Higher post graduate
6. membership, for example,
7. MRCGP / nMRCGP, MRCP, DRCOG, DCH.
Experience
Essential
8. Currently working/training in General Practice or some form of community medicine or urgent care.
9. Evidence of consolidation of professional training, for
10. example, able to demonstrate particular areas of interest or further study.
11. Experience of multi-disciplinary Working.
12. Knowledge of appraisal/Audits and SEA
