Join the Fusion and Modular Nuclear Business Unit! As a Process Engineer, work on cutting-edge Nuclear Fusion projects driving net-zero power generation. We’re looking for experts from nuclear fusion or those with skills from industries like civil nuclear, pharmaceuticals, or oil and gas. Be a part of the clean energy revolution!
As a valued and integrated member of the FMN team, the role of Process/Senior Engineer will include:
* Undertake work packages for major UK and international Nuclear Clients.
* Develop and review Process Flow Diagrams, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, Layout Drawings, and Specifications.
* Provide in-depth analysis and calculations for Fusion and Modular Nuclear Systems.
* ️ Produce high-quality engineering solutions across a broad range of Process Engineering topics.
* Communicate and provide feedback to the Lead Engineer and Project Manager.
* ️ Conduct requirements capture, concept design, and detailed design tasks.
* Collaborate with other FMN engineering functions and disciplines for integrated solutions.
* ⏰ Manage your own time to meet agreed timescales, cost targets, and quality standards.

Qualifications
* Degree qualified in Process or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
* Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartership with an accredited body.
* Background in nuclear fusion, nuclear sector, or regulated industries like thermal power generation, oil and gas.
* Knowledge of process plant design, flow calculations, pipe stress analysis, and FEED for process plants.
* Experience in designing and substantiating process engineering solutions.
* ⚖️ Familiarity with UK Health and Safety regulations, safety systems, and HAZOP.
* Proficient in engineering software tools.
