A reputable and well-know manufacturer in Bury St Edmunds are on the lookout for a Management Accountant to join the team on a full time, permanent basis Hybrid working, performance/ profit related bonus, access to a thriving industry and exposure for continuous learning as well as a competitive salary Responsibilities Working in a team of 4 and reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for generating financial information while working with department heads with the following responsibilities: Ensure timely monthly accounts closing and reporting to group deadlines. Work closely and partner with Plant and Departmental Managers to provide financial insights to support continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain full balance sheet reconciliations monthly. Support the preparation of annual financial statements and audits. Assist the Financial Manager in ensuring budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis are produced in a timely manner and are fit for purpose. Maintain the fixed asset register and capex reporting. Conduct ad hoc financial analyses. Contribute to Group financial process improvement and maintain controls integrity. Deputise for UKFM as appropriate. Oversee stock control and provide operational support to ensure financial accuracy. Present monthly P&L to stakeholders. Perform quarterly intercompany reconciliations. Skills, Qualifications & Experience ACCA or CIMA final level qualification minimum. Background in FMCG or manufacturing preferable. Advanced Excel skills. Strong business partnering capabilities.
