Female Support Worker
Location: Darlington, DL1 (12 min Drive from Darlington Memorial Hospital)
Pay: £12ph increasing to £12.31ph from 1st April 2025

We are looking for a female support worker to join our team in Darlington to support a lovely gentleman to live independently in his own supported living home.
He is in his 50s who enjoys his TV (including Tennis, sports and Food Network Channels) and he thoroughly enjoys taking part in cooking!
He has a learning disability, and he can experience behaviours of distress and can be quite verbal when experiencing these distressful moments.
A bubbly, motivated support worker with a good initiative would be a wonderful match.
What will I be doing?
You will be supporting him to live his life how he chooses, to be themselves, and to achieve their goals.
You will be supporting with prompting around personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, budgeting, cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
What shifts are available?
Long Day Sleep ins: 9:30am – 09:30am the following day (£45 sleep-in shift included).
Additional day shifts available throughout the week.
Sleep in shifts cover hours between: 11pm - 7am.
Rotas are provided 4 weeks in advance to support a healthy work-life balance.
