My client is a Chartered independent wealth planning firm with offices across Kent. They offer whole of market financial advice to HNW retirees, accumulators, local families, and SME owners based across Sussex, Kent, and London.
In their current setup, they manage the affairs of approximately 2000 clients (over £500m AUM) with assets ranging from £150k to £20m. The advisers consult on pensions, investments, tax planning, cashflow modelling, retirement planning, protections, and some esoteric schemes such as VCT & EIS schemes. They have longstanding relations with accountancy and solicitor practices who refer business to them, and the advisers are not targeted as they prioritize ensuring clients receive the best service rather than stacking up AUM. The business has won numerous awards and is very engaged in local community events, advocating for many charitable causes.
They place exceptional customer satisfaction at the top of their priorities, resulting in a very high rate of retention, with some relationships stretching back over 20 years. The support team comprises an experienced group of pooled Administrators and Paraplanners across two offices who are actively encouraged to progress and develop as both professionals and individuals via ongoing CPD and industry exams. The Managing Director is creating two brand-new roles for Financial Planners who are interested in generating new business and seeking to attend networking events and conferences.
You will be keen to build relationships with businesses and stakeholders across Kent and have a desire to broaden the reach and scope of the business further across the county. This role will suit a candidate with a background in an independent wealth planning firm who is preferably Chartered or aspires to work towards Chartered status. You will have dedicated admin and paraplanning support.
