Job summary
We are looking to recruit a highlymotivated Nurse Manager of our highly specialised community Dermatologyservice.
The Clinical Team Manager will takeresponsibility for the day to day functioning of a very busy dermatology,service, ensuring that clinical work is being delivered to a high standard.They will be responsible for ensuring that the teams pathways are managed,that staff are adequately trained, supervised and work to the BritishAssociation of Dermatology standards. They will work with the senior team onservice redesign and facilitate change to ensure that services develop asneeded and continue to meet the needs and safety of patients, always.
Main duties of the job
The clinicalteam manager will line manage the dermatology team and lead the clinical teamto ensure continual quality improvement and clinical governance. They willprovide a high level of clinical knowledge and experience to help informclinical decisions for the patients. They will supervise and supportivelymanage staff, enable recruitment of staff, sickness absence, be involved inservice development projects, participate in clinical governance and MDTmeetings, manage complaints and work closely with other partners. They willwork closely with both internal and external stakeholders to promote a cultureof compassionate, high-quality care and successful outcomes for patients.
