LIFE CENTRE MANAGER
NJC Scale SO1 Scale Points 23-28 pro rata to £30,250- £34,395
Term Time only, 39 hours per week
Are you able to motivate others, be decisive and ensure impact? We are looking for an inspirational lead for our Life Centre to work with our existing successful team supporting children and young people to engage in learning.
The successful candidate will lead and manage the Life Centre, planning and implementing appropriate learning programmes and behaviour support interventions to cater for students who demonstrate challenging behaviour in the classroom. They will support students referred to the LIFE Centre, individually or in a small group, and monitor progress, ensuring that all students are producing work of a high standard.
The role will involve the line management of Life Centre staff and liaison with staff and parents as appropriate. You will need to be passionate about supporting children and families to engage in learning.
Applicants should have experience working with children and experience in managing a team is desirable. A capacity for sustained hard work is vital.
