I'm looking for a Field Service Control Systems Engineer to join our client in Sudbury. The travel for this position is 30% - 50% and is all covered by the company, as well as a company phone and laptop. Responsibilities: Perform equipment start-ups, technical service calls, and troubleshooting. Develop pneumatic and electrical control systems, including PLC programming (Siemens/Allen Bradley - training provided). Assist in project execution by specifying parts and liaising with suppliers. Communicate with clients to understand and meet their control system requirements. Conduct equipment and application testing. Prepare site visit reports and maintain internal documentation. Provide technical support to customers and internal engineering/project teams. Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry standards. Experience and Skills Required: HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification. Willingness to travel Minimum of three years' experience in a technical role, ideally in machinery maintenance. Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge, including familiarity with pneumatic circuits. Experience with PLC programming (Siemens or Allen Bradley) is advantageous but not essential-training provided. Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD drawings. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Full, clean driving license and willingness to travel globally.
