Up to £36,507 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience)
University Centre Sparsholt is looking to appoint a passionate and dynamic lecturer in aquaculture and marine studies.
The successful candidate will be part of the Higher Education team, and will teach across our degree courses in this subject area. This academic role will involve delivering both taught and practical classes, and supporting and tutoring our students.
In particular we would love to hear from applicants with knowledge or experience in salmonids, aquaculture, marine environments and ecology.
The post holder should be qualified to at least Level 6 in a relevant subject area. The post holder will ideally hold a recognised teaching qualification, or be willing to attain this qualification. All staff will engage in CPD and scholarly activity, and there are opportunities for personal development appropriate to the role.
Our teaching and research takes place in our aquatics research centre as well as our salmonid research centre which allows us to provide industry leading facilities.
This post will be based at the Sparsholt Campus.
