Accounts Receivable and Credit Controller Hourly Rate: £13 - £15 Location: Benfleet Job Type: Part-time (25 to 30 hours per week, 4 - 5 days) We are seeking an Accounts Receivable and Credit Controller to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and has a knack for managing finances efficiently. The position offers a competitive hourly rate and the flexibility of part-time hours. Day-to-day of the role: Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounts receivable cycle. Ensuring timely collection of payments from clients while maintaining a high level of customer service. Monitoring debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtors DSO. Reconciling accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted. Generating financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status. Resolving any issues or discrepancies related to invoicing and payment from clients. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable or Credit Controller. Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations. Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
