Teaching Personnel are working closely alongside our partner secondary school in Bury to appoint a resilient and passionate behaviour support assistant to join their support team. Start date: as soon as possible. Full-time position, Monday -Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm. Earn between £1670 - £1800 per month, depending on experience. Within this role, you will support a caseload of students who would benefit from targeted SEMH provisions. You will encourage engagement in learning through implementing alternative support strategies which cater for the students individual learning style. You will have strong behaviour management skills which work to calm students down and maintain a controlled and enjoyable learning environment. What you will need: Experience supporting children displaying challenging behaviour or SEMH is desirable. Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
