Ready for a change? Looking for a role that you can develop into? Ready to join a site as it’s growing? We are looking for someone like you. We’re currently recruiting for a Warehouse Shift Team Leader to be based at our site in Sherburn In Elmet.
The working hours are Shifts, on a rotational basis:
Monday to Friday
04:45 to 13:15
13:45 to 21:15
20:45 to 05:15
Pay, benefits and more:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £13.60 per hr, in addition to an extra £2.73 ph when working between 1800-0600. We offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Lead a team of warehouse operatives safely, efficiently, and fully compliant with site policies and procedures.
* Supervise the operation, motivating and encouraging the team to perform to the best of their ability.
* Understand the customer’s requirements, updating on customer orders and providing general customer feedback as required.
* Maintain reports on productivity, including mitigation and opportunities to improve.
* Contractor calls out as required.
* Support the investigation of incidents as required.
* Ensure all processes and procedures are followed and that we operate a safe and efficient environment.
What you need to succeed at XPO:
* Essential: Previous knowledge of working within a warehouse environment.
* Essential: Exposure to working in a fast-paced environment – no two days will be the same, and we need you to think on your feet.
* Essential: Good knowledge of warehouse management systems & Microsoft packages.
* Essential: Supervisory experience or demonstrable experience of stepping up to cover a supervisory role.
* Essential: Demonstrable experience of meeting customer requirements and achieving objectives/KPIs that are set.
