We are looking for a Higher Learning Teaching Assistant who can help our key stage 2 children thrive at school.
About The Role This is a critical role in the school, as you will be responsible for working without teachers in all aspects of teaching and learning for the pupils. You will be an essential part of the team and will have the opportunity to really make a difference for our reception pupils at a key time of learning and development. There will also be opportunity where appropriate to provide support and assistance to teaching staff throughout the school and to also contribute to the development of our existing Teaching Assistants. You will support our students who have high level needs, such as autism, and take a lead role in delivering specific learning activities to individuals and groups of students. About You You will have demonstrable experience in supporting pupils and their needs as outlined in their EHCP. Experience in precision teaching as well as teaching English and maths would be ideal; most importantly though is that you are committed and conscientious in your work. You will be able to work independently, take initiative and be flexible. you will be able to plan and deliver lessons to small groups of students. You'll be personable and be able to build effective relationships with pupils and your peers and colleagues across the Trust.
