Job Description: Supply Chain Quality Manager in Portsmouth, responsible for key operational supplier interface, supplier development, and quality assurance.
Main Responsibilities:
* Act as key operational supplier interface and inspire trust & teamwork between Airbus & suppliers.
* Assess the Supplier capacity, capability & performance and contribute to the Supplier development.
* Challenge suppliers on each modification of the contract in order to stay at ISO perimeter.
* Contribute to all the documents that clarify the business between ADS & suppliers.
* Ensure on Quality, on Time deliveries to protect business operations.
* Verify Compliance to applicable requirements and secure industrial Maturity.
* Lead Supplier performance review and represent supply chain operations in various forums.
* Initiate and manage supplier performance improvement projects.
* Work out short term recovery plans.
* Identify the supplier's industrial risks and propose mitigation actions.
* Manage/contribute to supply chain & quality aspects of the contract.
* Manage supplier quality Approval ensure that suppliers are compliant with certifications required.
Essential Requirements:
1. Three years' experience of working in a manufacturing environment within Aerospace/defense industries.
2. Three years' experience using an MRP/ERP tool (preferably SAP).
3. Able to work in volatile/high pressure environments to resolve material supply problems.
4. Able to prioritize workload effectively.
5. Confident to communicate clearly to all interfaces.
6. Can work on own initiative.
7. Reporting to internal & external customers.
