About Us:
ScanTech Offshore Ltd – part of the James Fisher Group, provide an impressive range of rental equipment including air compressors, steam generators and rig cooling services, as well as designing, installing and commissioning bespoke heat suppression safety systems.
The Energy Division provides safe, sustainable products and services for two core markets, oil and gas and renewables.
The Role:
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will control the workshop, ensuring servicing and maintenance targets are met while also ensuring a high level of quality control is followed in accordance with company guidelines.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Ensure that all activities are carried out with the highest regard to the health and safety of all involved and to the protection of the environment and prevention of pollution.
2. Ensure that all work is undertaken to the highest quality and professionalism in accordance with the company integrated management system.
3. Identify personal training needs, bring them to the attention of the departmental manager, and utilise the training opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Minimum engineering qualifications - Level 3/HNC in a relevant engineering discipline.
* Experience working in a plant maintenance environment.
* Experience with Air Compressors and Diesel Engines.
* Experience in assembling new equipment would be an advantage.
* Ability to coordinate and prioritise work schedules.
* Competent in completing paperwork within company guidelines.
* Must be competent in their ability to give training and advice to staff to improve their future within the company.
* Good workshop management skills.
* To communicate and motivate staff to produce a high-quality product.
* Excellent digital skills using Microsoft Office.
* Experience with operating Planned Maintenance Systems.
This role is based at the Scantech offices in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk; therefore, you will need to live within a commutable distance to this location.
You will also require the right to reside and work in the UK to apply for this position.
