Project Manager for Commercial & Utility Solar Power Plant Projects
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of commercial and utility solar power plant projects. You will direct and supervise activities related to project bidding, contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, project financial projections, and schedule requirements.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, staff, and supervise all assigned work activities through site Construction Managers and subcontractors.
* Coordinate with the engineering team to plan the design and installation of the product and related items.
* Work closely with Construction Manager for oversight of contractors and trades.
* Issue project progress reports and communicate proactively with team members.
* Enforce quality control programs and manage customer audits and inspections.
Requirements:
* Proven working experience in Project management.
* Advanced knowledge of Project management processes, means, and methods.
* Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
* Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
* Familiarity with construction management software packages.
Working Conditions:
* Main office environment work. Will be expected to travel as needed to vendors, company subsidiaries/cooperation.
You will have 5+ years of commercial/Utility construction experience, with a strong background in project management, preferably on large-scale projects. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of Microsoft Project and/or P6 Primavera are also required.
