Superior Recruitment Group are looking for a Senior Cost Controller to join the team on a 12 month basis.
This role is responsible for the preparation, monitoring, reporting, forecasting and billing of all Asset or Departmental specific costs, as well as assisting the Cost Control Manager in developing procedures to create solid platforms for financial delivery. This includes day to day cost control of assigned Assets or Departments
Details/duties:
* Develop and maintain Asset or Department specific Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
* Work with Time-keepers, Partner Finance Departments, Asset Management, Engineering & Construction and any other Department required to ensure accurate and timely capture of labour and procurement costs
* Work with Asset Management and othe Departments to develop, monitor and report on budgets and forecasts
* Sales invoicing of all Asset or Departmental related activities in timely manner, with accountability for unbilled costs
* Reporting, with variance analysis, of all Asset or Departmental related activities
* Assist with reviewing contracts and purchase orders from clients to understand all aspects and dynamics affecting Asset or Departmental activities, including commitment tracking
* Focal Point for Asset or Department, both internally and externally
* Participate in full Month End cycle, including internal and external VOWD/accruals submissions
* Support development and ensure familiarization with our client's cost system
Qualifications/Experience required:
* Previous experience of large project work within the O&G Industry
* Relevant Cost Control experience
* Ability to produce high quality work
* Strong ability to prioritise and structure work tasks
