KS1 Teacher - Ormskirk
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Primary Teacher seeking a full-time role in Ormskirk (L39). A vacancy has opened at a rural primary school in the area for a Year 2 Teacher. The role is set to begin on 1st September 2025 and is planned to continue until April 2026, covering maternity leave.
Both Early Career Teachers (ECTs)* and fully inducted Teachers are encouraged to apply.

Given the significance of the Year 2 curriculum, particularly with the KS1 SATs taking place, the Head Teacher has outlined that the successful candidate will have previous experience teaching in Year 2, whether as a Trainee Teacher or a qualified Teacher, ensuring a solid understanding of Year 2 expectations.
To succeed in this application, you must demonstrate a creative and purposeful approach to teaching and learning, possess strong organisational skills, and show commitment to both the role and the development of the pupils.
Early Career Teachers will receive excellent support and mentoring from the school’s KS1 Lead.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
