Lavoro Care are looking for experienced, enthusiastic, and passionate individuals to join our dedicated team of Complex Needs Support Workers.
The nature of this role is to support young people within a residential home who display emotional and behavioural difficulties and challenging behaviour. As a member of our children's team, you will be passionate about making a difference in a child's life, striving for the best outcomes for those in your care.

Overview Of The Roles And Responsibilities
1. Work in a team environment at all times to provide care and support to the young person.
2. Administer medication to the young person if required.
3. Promote independence and motivate the young person to engage in key worker sessions and therapeutic activities.
4. Support the young person with domestic duties.
5. Listen and support the young person at all times.
6. Take a genuine interest in the young person's hobbies and what they enjoy doing.
7. Utilise de-escalation techniques where required.
Requirements Of The Ideal Candidate
1. Driving licence is essential.
2. Have a minimum of 12 months experience working with young people/children with Mental Health Difficulties and Emotional, Social and Behavioural Difficulties.
3. Have a natural ability to build positive relationships with young people and earn their trust.
4. Be able to manage challenging situations and difficult behaviours such as swearing, aggression, shutdowns, self-harm, and conflict resolution.
5. Be confident in utilising safe holds and restraints where necessary.
6. Competent working with IT systems.
7. Possess a can-do and compassionate attitude.
