Lead Clinician - Speech and Language Therapist Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Clinician to manage our clinically led team at Meadows View School in Stamford. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the school's Senior Leadership team and the Locality Clinical Lead.
The role will involve clinically leading the team, holding a therapy caseload, and coordinating line management of the onsite clinical team. The postholder will deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for students with complex needs resulting from autism, neurodivergence, developmental trauma, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
The ideal candidate will have a recognised degree in Speech & Language Therapy, valid professional registration, and experience working with autistic individuals and those with complex needs. They will also possess strong report writing skills, experience providing supervision, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the clinically led team and hold a therapy caseload
* Coordinate line management of the onsite clinical team
* Deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for students with complex needs
* Support the integration of the service within the day-to-day running of each provision
* Implement the wellbeing and clinical rainbow strategy at a universal, enhanced, and specialist level
Working Arrangements:
* 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm
* Permanent, term-time only contract (with potential for full-time contract)

Essential Criteria:
* Recognised degree in Speech & Language Therapy
* Valid professional registration and membership of a professional body (e.g., HCPC, RCOT, RCSLT)
* Experience working with autistic individuals and those with complex needs
* Clear and concise report writing skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
