Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and driven Managing Director with a strong background in Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) operations and hospitality to join our executive team. Extensive experience in the QSR industry is essential —candidates must demonstrate a successful track record as a franchisor or in leading a multi-site QSR brand. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of franchise operations, business development, and maintaining strong franchisee relationships. As Managing Director, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our franchise network, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and profitability across all locations. Key Responsibilities: Work alongside the CEO and executive team to define and execute the company’s long-term strategic plan. Oversee and lead all operational aspects of the business, including franchise support, training, and compliance. Develop and implement operational strategies that support scalable growth and operational excellence across the franchise network. Ensure operational consistency, efficiency, and alignment with brand standards across all franchise locations. Lead initiatives to enhance franchisee satisfaction and support, including communication, performance improvement, and conflict resolution. Optimise supply chain and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality. Drive process improvements, operational innovations, and the implementation of best practices within the franchise system. Monitor and analyse financial performance and operational KPIs, providing data-driven insights to guide decision-making. Lead a high-performing operations team, including regional managers and franchise support staff. Ensure compliance with all legal, financial, and regulatory requirements for both franchisor and franchisees. Qualifications: Proven experience in a senior leadership role, ideally as a MD or similar, within a franchise business. Previous experience as a franchisor, with a deep understanding of franchise models, franchisee relations, and franchise operations. Strong operational, strategic, and financial acumen, with a proven ability to drive profitability and operational efficiency. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate both internal teams and franchisees. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on building strong relationships across the organization. Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to make informed decisions.
