Qualifications needed:
1. Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
2. CCT or equivalent
3. Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST

Job responsibilities
You will be expected to:
1. Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to babies, children and young people across South West Essex.
2. Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team.
3. Work directly with babies, children and young people, and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external health providers and acute hospitals.
4. Participate in the local Child Protection rota.
5. Support your peers and team leader, and be an effective team member whilst allowing them to work with their own initiative.
6. Commit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals, and agencies.
