An effective and efficient customer acquisition and retention strategy will be integral to the next phase and we are looking to hire a Head of Performance Marketing and CRM who will own the definition, implementation and ongoing optimisation of our activities in these areas.
This is a great opportunity for an ambitious, highly motivated and results-driven marketeer. TWC has grown considerably over the last five years but there is still plenty of room for more growth in terms of penetration and share of wallet. Increasing customer acquisition volumes and maximising customer lifetime value are fundamental to delivering on our growth ambitions in the UK and new markets.
What you’ll be doing
* Define and execute the customer acquisition and retention strategy
* Develop and optimise the customer acquisition strategy which is currently primarily focused on digital performance marketing channels
* Refine and optimise the lifecycle contact strategy and related loyalty proposition. Noting that we are a multi-channel, multi-category retailer.
* Manage Brochure, Direct Mail, Email, Search, Paid Social, Display, Affiliates and Influencer Networks. Applying a constant test & learn approach utilising appropriate measurement techniques
* Define the promotion strategy. Balancing data collection, incremental value and brand positioning considerations
* Build the capability and efficiency of the function – people, processes, tools and systems
* Work closely with Insight and Analytics, Brand Marketing, Digital, Editorial, PR, Social, Contact Centre, Creative and Product teams
* Manage external partners who support in the delivery of Search, Media, Email, Affiliate and Brochure activities
* Manage budgets associated to performance marketing and CRM – budget planning [sales and costs], business cases, marketing channel and project budget control, benefits realisation
What skills & experience you’ll need
* Significant performance marketing experience within Retail and/or Luxury sectors
* Experience of customer acquisition marketing in new markets. Specifically, the US but also European markets
* Previous management of large-scale marketing programmes across print media, email marketing, paid search, search engine optimisation, paid and organic social, affiliate marketing
* Deep knowledge of tools and techniques to deliver targeted, personalised customer experiences
* Proven leader of performance marketing teams and programmes. A driver of change – able to inspire, influence, collaborate and lead cross-functional teams
* Credible and confident in influencing senior stakeholders – CEO, Op Board, Senior Management peer group
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels as well as developed interpersonal skills
* Able to interpret, prioritise and act with a sharp attention to detail
* Highly organised with the capacity to lead multiple projects at the same time
* Commercial, analytical, technically minded, passionate, resourceful and imaginative
