Teaching Personnel are working closely with a SEN school based in the Brighton & Hove area. The school is now looking to recruit individuals who could be strong role models for their pupils and are able to work 1:1 and in small groups with them. It’s important that you have a passion for education and special educational needs, as you will be working alongside brilliant staff members who share the same passion for SEN.
About the School:
The SEN provision caters for pupils between the ages of 6-15 years, all of whom have needs such as Autism, ADHD, and PMLD (Profound, Multiple, Learning Difficulties). The school has wonderful facilities including spacious grounds (which include forest schooling) and an indoor swimming pool for their pupils!
About the Role:
The chosen Child Mentor will be expected to be a strong role model for the pupils. You will work closely with the pupils, within class, in between classes, and on school outings. Building a strong relationship with the pupils is key to the role!

Pay: £83.85 pd (Minimum)
Hours: 8:30am – 15:30pm
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

DBS: Child Only Enhanced DBS
