Role and Responsibilities
Knowledge of physical education and its impact on child development.
1. Understanding of how the human body works
2. Knowledge of the National Curriculum
3. Ability to develop positive relationships with a range of people
4. Ability to work in a team, as well as use your own initiative
5. Enthusiasm for your subject to inspire and motivate students to take part in sport: not everyone is as keen as you are
6. Ability to prepare students for exams
7. Excellent communication skills
8. Good organisational and time management skills
9. Class management and ability to deal with challenging behaviour
10. Patience and humour

Requirements
1. Hold a relevant degree and a qualification with, or leading to, UK Qualified Teacher Status (NQTs and overseas qualified teachers are welcome)

5. Have proven classroom management skills
