We are looking for a talented Commissioning Manager to join our Rail team on the London Underground.
Following successful contract awards with Transport for London on the London Underground for the Piccadilly Line power upgrade and Beckton Depot, we are excited to have a wide range of works to accomplish. What you'll be doing
* Support, where appropriate, all technical and commercial aspects of the mechanical and electrical installation on BBES projects.
* Ensure that operations in the factory and on site are carried out in a safe manner and ensure that the company’s business processes are followed in carrying out the construction project.
* Maintain good client relationships on the project.
* Power commissioning experience on London Underground and/or Network Rail.
* Knowledge of London Underground policies and systems (desirable).
Who we're looking for
* Significant management experience within the construction or relevant support services industries, together with a strong understanding of technical issues and trends in the traction and or power sectors.
* The individual should ideally have experience of traction power supply systems for rail or have previously had design experience with low voltage to medium voltage switchboard design.
* Proven experience in commissioning management, preferably within the rail industry.
* Hold a degree in an appropriate discipline (a minimum of HNC / ONC or equivalent in a relevant subject is expected) or similar.
* Corporate membership of a professional body is desirable.
* Evidence of recent management/leadership development is desirable.
* An HNC in Contracting Management (or equivalent) is desirable.
